Strolling a baby around town is like playing handler to a tiny rockstar.
I'm lucky.  I've been blessed with a child so adorably attractive that, on a regular basis, the urge to touch him overcomes decorum in otherwise polite citizens.  "Oh my.  What a cutie!" is usually followed by a chin tickle or the traditional one-finger baby handshake.  Old ladies are the most common offenders.  Yesterday one KISSED my son.  She was a sweet little grandma so taken with Superstar's smile that she kissed his whole face and blew raspberries in his hand.  I was frozen, my inner Howard Hughes screaming "Tuberculosis!  Tuberculosis!"  but it was so joyful and spontaneous that I couldn't stop her.  The good of receiving such kindness and affection has to outweigh the bad, right?

Where's my Purell?
